This year is a very special one for us: it marks 30 years since I began creating embroidery designs. This anniversary felt like the perfect moment to pause, look back, and share a little more about who we are and how our journey began.
Our business is a small family enterprise, built on shared values, careful work, and a deep respect for quality. There are two of us behind the scenes. Veronika accompanies every step of our process as a quality assurance engineer. Her perspective helps ensure consistency, precision, and clarity in everything we release.
My own path in embroidery began earlier. I began working in machine embroidery in 1990 in an industrial machine embroidery environment. Over the years, I had the opportunity to experience almost every part of the process: from embroidery preparation and machine operation to shift supervision and embroidery design editing. Each role taught me something different and valuable about precision, quality, and how embroidery truly works in practice.
In 1996, I took the step that shaped everything that followed and started creating my own embroidery designs. Thirty years later, I still approach each new design with the same curiosity and respect for the craft. Being involved in embroidery for so many years has given me a deep understanding of how designs behave on real machines, with real fabrics and threads. Every file we release is created with this experience in mind and carefully tested before it reaches our web shop.

Even then, and still today, it represented something very important to me: turning complex symbols into clean, carefully crafted embroidery.
At my digitizing tablet, a tool that played a central role at the very start of my design journey.
I enlarged a technical drawing, fixed it on the tablet, and carefully traced every line and detail by hand.
Today, our work combines this long professional background with fresh ideas and a love for detail. As a family business, we design each embroidery design ourselves, focusing on quality, clarity, and designs that are enjoyable to stitch.
To celebrate this 30-year anniversary, I'd love to share one of those early practice designs with you. Coming straight from the 1990s, it’s a cute little retro wizard embroidery design, which you’ll find here as a small, nostalgic nod to the early days of embroidery digitizing and to the path that led us to where we are today.
